What is Two Factor Authentication?

Also known as 2FA, Two Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to authenticate users when they log into Wise-Sync and Wise-Pay.

  • The first layer consists of account details that a user must remember
    • Your Username and Password
  • The second layer consists of something that the user has (i.e. a physical object)
    • In this case, a mobile device
      • The user's device must have a two factor authentication app such as Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator installed. These apps are available from the app store applicable to the user's device.
