When special characters are used in a ConnectWise Record such as an '&' can result in the batch or record failing as the escaping of special characters can break the HTML request for the batch, product search or other functions.

Error:

Special characters that are known to cause issues include:

  • |
  • &
  • #
  • '
  • <>

To resolve the issue:

1) Update the Product ID - 
such as replacing the character '&' with the word 'and'


2) Sync Invoice again.
