Duplicate Name Exists Error of type: Item. The name supplied already exists.

How can this happen?
When an item has been created and/or synced to QBO initially, and then a second item with the same name but has added illegal character/s will be synced - QBO will ignore the illegal character, resulting in an error "Item Exists".
eg. Add Workstations Pro and Add Workstations – Pro
Sample Illegal Characters è·<>-+"';"&^_-()±²–
Locate the product/item with illegal character/s (in the example above, it’s the long dash) and amend name in PSA, then re-sync.
