How can this happen?

  • A Contact in the Company Recycle Bin with the same name is being returned as the Billing Contact
  • Multiple Contacts are checked as either the Primary or Billing Contact in Communications Manager

Solution

  1. In ConnectWise Manage, go to System > Mass Maintenance > Company Recycle Bin and force delete the contact from the system permanently 

  2. In ConnectWise Manage go to Marketing > Communications Manager, change the primary and billing contacts to another contact, and then change them back (toggle the contacts) to eliminate the duplicates.
